Plot

Young Cilla Blake lives with her stern old grandmother, Mrs Ralston, who has a hatred of wild creatures. Cilla is secretly caring for two owlets  whose parents have been killed. The secret is only shared with her friend, Ray Pressley, a farmer’s son.
