Di Franklin and her mother moved into  a block of new flats where dogs were not allowed. But an unknown friend sent Di a present of F.R.E.D.—a Fully Robotised Electronic Dog.

• In Debbie issue #88 at the end of story it advertises that Super Pup will return next week when “Fred becomes a bloodhound” but Super Pup doesn’t return until #93 with that story.
