Hazel Hart runs a travelling hairdressing service using a Romany caravan and a horse called Banjo.
When fifteen-year-old Pam Potter’s mother had an accident, Pam was left to run their hairdressing business, “Pigtail Corner”, single-handed. It was vital that Pam should make the shop a success, as she and her mother had spent all their savings on starting it.
Plot:
Cheryl Boyd and Amy Jackson land part-time jobs at a hair salon, with the promise that one of them will get a permanent position in the summer. Amy is trying to get rid of Cheryl so she will land the job. Cheryl soon realises she has an enemy, but does not suspect Amy.
