Twin Trouble [1985]

Plot

Next door neighbours Val Price and Jenny Brown had fallen out. Then Val got a pony, Snowflake and Jenny got a pony on loan, Frosty and they discovered that the ponies were twins. Problems ensued when the horses wanted to stay together!

Neptune – Horse from the Deep

Plot:

Young gipsy, Roma Lee, is in hiding while her foster parents are in hospital, injured when the gipsies where thrown off their campsite. When Neptune, a beautiful white stallion, swims out of the sea, she trains him with the help of her new friend, Mandy.  After jumping badly at a gymkhana, Roma drives Neptune  back into the sea

Plot:

When racehorse, Silver Star, was injured in an accident, owner Dick Thorpe reluctantly decided to have him shot. But Ginger, the stable boy, and young Debbie Thorpe, faked the horse’s death and took him to a secret hiding-place, to nurse him back to full fitness.

Katy the Cabby

Plot

Katy Talbot’s father runs a taxi service, but then there is a mysterious fire in which his taxi is destroyed. The Talbots suspect Tim Blundstone, who runs a rival taxi service, but cannot prove it. Katy restarts the family taxi business with an old-fashioned horse and cab, but Blundstone is out to sabotage her.

The Westfield Wager

Plot

Rose Westfield’s Uncle Joshua has gambled away most of the family’s prized possessions. Then he makes a wager with Sir Ralph Granger, staking all the money Sir Ralph has won from him against Rose’s horse Midnight that she can ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats in ten days. If she fails, she loses Midnight, but agrees to the race on condition her Uncle Josh give up gambling. Rose is confident of winning, but is up against added difficulties of Sir Ralph’s groom Sykes out to stop her and then her eyesight beginning to fail after a blow to her head.
