The Ride-away Randalls [1978]

Plot

When Mr Randall is transferred to Scotland his three children are left in Cornwall and put in the care of landlady Mrs Pendellin. Unfortunately Mrs Pendellin dies and the authorities cannot trace the father. So Welfare intend to put the children into care and sell the ponies, but the children are having none of this. Instead, they saddle up and go on the run from Welfare and in search of their father.

Danger for Rozelle [1978]

Plot

Rozelle, a gipsy orphan, is sold by her parents to the Baroness Kessler, who uses hypnotism to turn Rozelle into a show-jumping success with the Baroness’s horse Midnight. The Baroness cares far more about her horse than she does about Rozelle. A reporter, Jill Wilson, finds out about the hypnotism and is trying to help Rozelle. Then another gipsy, Zara, steals Midnight after a quarrel with the Baroness. Matters come to a head when the Baroness confronts Zara and a fire breaks out.

Twin Trouble [1985]

Plot

Next door neighbours Val Price and Jenny Brown had fallen out. Then Val got a pony, Snowflake and Jenny got a pony on loan, Frosty and they discovered that the ponies were twins. Problems ensued when the horses wanted to stay together!

Neptune – Horse from the Deep

Plot:

Young gipsy, Roma Lee, is in hiding while her foster parents are in hospital, injured when the gipsies where thrown off their campsite. When Neptune, a beautiful white stallion, swims out of the sea, she trains him with the help of her new friend, Mandy.  After jumping badly at a gymkhana, Roma drives Neptune  back into the sea

The Secret of Silver Star

Plot:

When racehorse, Silver Star, was injured in an accident, owner Dick Thorpe reluctantly decided to have him shot. But Ginger, the stable boy, and young Debbie Thorpe, faked the horse’s death and took him to a secret hiding-place, to nurse him back to full fitness.
