Abracadabra Academy

Plot:

Jamara Jones comes from a line of witches. She wants to be an ordinary girl – not least of which because her spells keep going wrong, with hilarious results. But Jamara’s mother wants Jamara to follow the family tradition and sends her to Abracadabra Academy, a school for witchcraft.

Plot

A weird old lady passes on a strange power to Susie Green. When Susie sneezes, whatever wish she makes at the time comes true. But this causes problems because Susie sneezes a great deal as she has so many allergies, and the heat of the moment has her wishing things she doesn’t mean.

Plot:

On her way home from school, Polly James saved a frog from being squashed in the road. To her amazement the frog changed into a young prince. He had set out a thousand years ago to search for his princess. Polly had agreed to help her new friend, Prince Rufus, but things weren’t exactly going  to plan . . .

The Land of Nowhere

Plot

When Nancy Wilson waters her sunflowers with a special growing powder, they just grow and grow. Nancy climbs the sunflowers to look for her cat Prudence and finds herself in The Land of Nowhere, a magic wonderland. In the Land of Nowhere, Nancy gains magical powers, but gets herself into trouble each time she uses them.

Gail – The Girl Goddess

Plot

A mystery man calling himself the High Priest Klun chooses Gail Johnson to be the goddess of his followers, but Gail must pass some tests to prove she is the goddess. Gail is not keen on the whole school treating her as a celebrity because she is supposed to be a goddess and tries to fail the tests, but keeps passing them instead.

Slaves to the Moonstone

Plot

Schoolgirls Jill Dentry and Sandra  Grey had time-travelled back to Victorian times by means of a moonstone ring belonging to Merlin, magician at King Arthur’s court. Merlin needed them to bring back something called the ‘ Black Dolphin of the Sun’ to help break the spell which held him trapped in the 20th century. The girls ended up in a sinister school run by Mrs Hogg and a brutal-looking porter called Thresh.

Plot:

Moira Davies was the owner of a magic mirror, which came to her in mysterious circumstances on her fourteenth birthday. When it was taken out of its special bag, anything it was turned upon immediately became invisible for a time.
