Plot

Cherry Richards is the Assistant Leader in the Rayford Junior Club. She is new to the job and finds that the ideas of the Club Mistress, Miss Crump, are very much out of date. Cherry hopes to liven the Club up by starting a Formation Dance Team, but Miss Crump and Mrs Hill, the wealthy patron of the Club, are very much against it. In spite of Miss Crump’s efforts to stop them, Cherry is training her Dance Team to toke part in a Youth Clubs’ Festival competition.
