Checking up on the world-wide agencies of  Comet Cosmetics, the vast beauty aids business owned by her Aunt Penelope, was the task given to young Tilly Pringle. She was accompanied by Melinda, her aunt’s personal assistant, who always seemed to have a solution for every problem.
