Plot

When the Far Eastern island of Tengo is invaded by rebels, Dr Martine and his daughter, Noelle, stay on after the islanders flee, leaving their pets behind. Under the noses of the rebels, Noelle has built a simple ark to ferry the animals to the mainland.
