Plot:

Meg Wells, father, Cardoc and his cousin Eli are rivals for kingship of the gipsy tribe. Whoever can produce the most silver be a certain date will be king and the loser and his family will be exiled. Meg with her horse Dido, enters a three day riding event in hopes to win the big silver cup and save her family.
