Plot

Bess Farley lives in a cottage on the edge of Sherwood Forest. On the day that her father is taken prisoner by the Sheriff of Nottingham, Bess makes a bargain with the outlaw, Robin Hood. She is to warn Robin and his men whenever  any soldiers enter the forest, by firing a black arrow between the tops of two tall trees. In return, Robin promises to free her father.
