Plot
Belle Webb, a keen butterfly stroke swimmer, finds she is forbidden to swim when she goes to stay with her grandfather on Redstone Island. For an unknown reason, the ban has been imposed by Dame Agatha Quagg, who owns the island and employs George Webb, Belle’s grandfather. Though it means risking his job and cottage, Belle’s grandfather encourages her to compete in a free-style race at the mainland town of Baymouth.
