Plot

Young Shirley Leighton is assistant purser  aboard the liner, Morning Star, which does the North Atlantic run between Southampton and New York. Shirley helps  the chief purser, Bill Jenkins, to keep the passengers happy, and she has earned the nickname, “Shipshape Shirley”.
