Plot:

15-year-old Jenny Parker is looking after her young brother and sister while their widowed mother, who has been badly injured in an accident, is in hospital. There is no place for kids to play around George Street and while the Parkers are running around the streets, they end up running into a man. The man is Steve Duncan a writer who recently moved to George Street, he has a friend with a large grounds, which gives Jenny the idea of using it as a playground.
