Plot
Show-jumping story told from the point of view of the horse, Nutmeg. In the sequel Nutmeg at the Olympic Games, Nutmeg makes it to the Montreal Olympics, but has problems with competing, including a jealous horse tampering with his feed and being unjustly expelled from the team.
Another sequel appeared in Judy with a different artist, Nutmeg and Fritz. Nutmeg now an Olympic gold medal winning horse, could not get on with his overbearing German cousin, Fritz. Nutmeg kept trying to outsmart Fritz, usually without success. Now a newcomer, Skewie, had arrived at the stables and Nutmeg was showing what he could do.

There are two mistakes in ‘Nutmeg – The Horse With A Mind Of It’s Own’. I’m accepting the hyphen, which isn’t there in the title but really should be, although a comma would have sufficed, but I really can’t accept ‘it’s’. The word should be ‘its’ because the word implies possession, whereas ‘it’s’ means ‘it is’. The second mistake is that in this context neither ‘its’ nor ‘it’s’ can possibly be correct, as that part of the title contains neither. Just check the photograph under the plot summary!!
The half-page in the comicoz article is not from Judy #1525-#1535. However, I have the half-page in a German publication that contains the pages from Judy #1525-#1535 and other pages. I therefore assume that there is another story in later Judys.
