Plot
Once in a lifetime, the famous pen firm, Leewell Lewis, produced the perfect pen, so beautifully made that even the most careless writer was inspired when using it. One such pen was presented to Mary Wells as a prize at her school, and from that moment she was the envy of every pupil. Mary, who was in the C stream, had only one ambition—to move up into the top stream. With the pen, she had every success—until Beverley Johns stole it and gave Mary a replica.
