Children of the Night

Plot

The evil Aunt Mabel runs an orphanage for homeless children where she shuts out sunlight on them, making them blind by day but able to navigate in the dark. This is so she can send them out to steal at night. When justice catches up with Aunt Mabel, the children are taken in by the generous and wealthy Mrs Rigby, who is given one month to reform them.

  1. I was reading children of the night in 1972 i was 14 and remember it clearly because it was my favourite. So I am puzzled why it states here it came out 1980.

  2. I found “Children of the Night” in my Bunty’s of late 1971 and early 1972. I don’t have the beginning or ending issues but it should have started in Bunty #717 (October 9, 1971) and ended in Bunty #734 (February 5, 1972). I’m not sure of these dates but they should be close.
