Plot

Dot Preston was convinced that the girl who arrived at her children’s home was actually her twin sister, Carrie, believed killed in a second World War air raid  4 years previously. When Carrie is to be fostered, Dot convinces her to runaway so they can stay together and she sets out to find proof they are sisters.
