Beanstalk Brenda

Plot

After Brenda Halford had touched the leaves of a strange plant, she begun to grow at an alarming rate. It was causing many problems for like when she was supposed to represent her school at netball but hearing cruel remarks about her height caused her to run off.

Mermaids at War

Plot

Former swimming star Dodie Lamont gave Diana Renton a job as a couch to the Mermaid Swimming club, promising to donate money to save Mermaids swimming pool only if Diana could produce a champion. Anthea Lomax and Maggie Main were the clubs brightest hopes and Diana turned them into deadly rivals to provoke best performance.

Eye Witness

Plot

On her way home from a disco, Gillian Parker had witnessed a bank robbery where a guard has been killed. The gang spotted Gillian and chased her but she managed to hide. She was too frightened to go home or go to police cos one of the gang was her older sister, Rachel.

The Revenge of Roxanne

Plot

Roxanne Derby moves to a village where she falls under the power of a vengeful ghost, who is also named Roxanne. The Roxanne ghost forces Roxanne to commit acts of terror against the villagers through a ring she puts on Roxanne’s finger, and Roxanne cannot remove it. As a result, the villagers start thinking Roxanne is a witch and it culminates in Roxanne being chased by a witch-hunting mob.

Sister of Hate (1984)

Plot

Suzanne Hammond is pleased at first when a baby, Lucy, shows up on their doorstep, but then a day later Lucy has grown up and looks exactly like Suzanne. The evil double passes herself off as the twin sister of Suzanne. Everyone but Suzanne somehow believes the twin has always been there and she can’t convince them otherwise. The double eventually reveals she is going to take over from Suzanne. Then more of these doubles appear in every household in the neighbourhood. It is an alien invasion.

The Invitation

Plot

While out for a walk Laura Blake met a young boy, John, who said he lived nearby, but she couldn’t find house only a large burnt down manor.  On investigation she found that a boy looking like John had been killed in the fire.

The Thirteenth Hour

Plot

Laura Munro had traveled to spend summer with her gran. However her gran was in hospital, leaving the housekeeper Miss Peebles in charge. Laura was bored until she found that when an old clock struck 13 she was transported back to the 1920s. There she was only visible to her friend Lena.
