  1. I need to query, Lorraine, your assertion above that ‘The Three Imps’, a very average story, could actually survive continuously for roughly three and a half years. ‘The Four Marys’ it is not.

    1. I still have to update a lot of older posts, I haven’t tackled Bunty yet. The Three Imps comprised of several series, so I’ve updated to reflect that with the dates I have on hand.

Seems that it was popular enough to run for few years. Maybe considering Jim Eldridge went on to draw years of The Four Marys, may have meant it was a reliable story to run. It also ran for a time when The Four Marys took a break, so it may have been viewed as a good replacement for a while, as both centered around a group of friends at a boarding school

  2. ‘The Three Imps’ ran in BUNTY
    1183 (September 13 1980) – 1193 (November 22 1980). (no instalment in 1188)
    1199 (January 3 1981) – 1222 (June 13 1981)
    1236 (September 19 1981) – 1249 (December 19 1981)
    1306 (January 22 1983) – 1329 (July 2 1983)
    1344 (October 15 1983) – 1378 (June 9 1984)
I don’t think there were any more series, but I am still in the process of checking my BUNTY listing for accuracy and omissions. If I come across any more, I will of course report back.
