  1. These are two different stories. The first “Willa the Wisp” began in Bunty #561 (October 12, 1968) and ended in Bunty #580 (February 22,1969). It is about a tear-away Willa Browne. She tries to get a job at a department store selling perfume. She gets locked in at closing and to pass the time she tries on different dresses. The store’s managers see her on the security camera and think she would make a great model. The rest of the story is about her modeling and becoming a successful model. The second “Willa the Wisp” begins in Bunty #1431 (June 15, 1985) and ends in Bunty #1448 (October 12, 1985). It is the same Willa Browne now a successful model giving fashion shows in the old bus. Seventeen years seems a long time for a sequel, but I can’t find a reprint of the original.

    1. Thanks Ronnie, I didn’t have all the issues to compare, with such a gap I assumed it was a reprint. Quite unusual!

  2. I had assumed that it was a reprint also until I started writing down the issue dates and looked at the stories. I could not find a reprint of the original though and I looked back to the January 1981 issues.
