Plot

When Liz and Di Johnson’s parents died, their wealthy grandmother traced them to the fairground where they lived. She wanted Liz, who strongly resembled her father, to stay at the family home, but as the girls vowed never to be parted, Grandmother reluctantly let Di come too.

Grandfather’s Clock

Plot

Susie Porter’s family had inherited her Grandfather’s money and home at an exclusive part of town. Her family loved it, but Susie was not happy, as she missed her old friends. Grandfather Porter was a great practical joker and Susie discovered the old grandfather clock seemed to be carrying on his mischievous tricks. Whenever it stopped, strange things happened.

Rent-A-Mum

Plot

Jenny Sloane’s widowed mother has hit on an idea for earning money – renting herself out for anyone who needed a temporary mum! The only snag was Mum was better at creating new ideas that carrying them out. She usually left that to Jenny.

I’ll Be a Baddie!

Plot

Although Trudi Forbes was happy at Greenbank Children’s Home, she hoped to be fostered by a friendly lady named Mrs Coles Then Trudi learned that Mrs Cole preferred the challenge of fostering difficult children – so Trudi decided she would pretend to be a “baddie”.

Plot

Fay Jones had always taken second place to her talented sister, Pat. One day, Fay fell knocked her head and lost her memory. It soon returned, but when she realised she was getting all the family’s attention for a change, Fay decided to pretend she still remembered nothing.
