- The comic strip only appeared briefly and sporadically in the weekly issues.
- For a short period of time from Bunty issue #244 to #253, there was a page of various cartoon strips, this page had the Babalu strip and then rotated other strips including Bonny and her Baby Brother. This format appeared occasionally in later years too.
