Annette of the Air School

Plot:

Annette Shaw had led a hard life on a farm before she won a place at the Spear-Jet School. Here, chosen Fourth Formers began their training to be air hostesses. Annette knew she would have to keep secret the fact that she was afraid of heights, but she was happy at the school. It was, therefore, a great shock when her father arrived to take her home, but one of her friends helps to convince her father to let her stay longer.
