Plot
Ingrid Bergen’s father, Professor Bergen, runs Push-Button Academy, a high-tech academy where everything is mechanised and pupils are taught by robot teachers.
In The Dunce from Outer Space, an alien named Astra joins the school reluctantly, but she doesn’t want to learn and keeps causing trouble. Her parents are leaders of their planet and insist she is to be educated, and if Push-Button Academy fails, they threaten to destroy it!

Small point: the actual titles of the annual stories are “Ingrid at Push-Button Academy” (1970) and “Ingrid and the Robot” (1971).

Is this the same Ingrid as in “Two-Ton Ingrid”? There is also “Invisible Ingrid”, starting in Diana 88. On your page “Diana Stories” is also listed “Ingrid and the Magic Wand”.
“Two-Ton Ingrid” could well be the same Ingrid as their last name is Bergen and the hairstyle looks the same. I don’t have any information about “Ingrid and the Magic Wand”. Thank you for the information about “Invisible Ingrid”.
It is possible Ingrid had many adventures!
In the case of Two-Ton Ingrid, I don’t have all episodes but the ones I do have there is no Push Button Academy, Ingrid goes to St Bernards School but her father is a professor. It’s likely after several adventures involving his experiments he created Push-Button Academy!
