Plot

Belita Sanchez lives on her father’s bull farm in sunny Portugal. Belita has a pet bull called Midnight, which, in an incident at the farm, disfigures the face of a young man, Jose Monteirci. Years later Jose, now a famous matador of the bullrings in Spain, reappears at the Sanchez farm and forces Senor Sanchez to sell Midnight to him. Jose seeks vengeance on the bull. He intends to fight and kill Midnight in a ring in Spain.
