The Lonely Life of Linda Brown

Plot

When Linda Brown’s parents were killed in a train crash, she went to live with her, grandmother at Melton Manor. Her spine was damaged in a riding accident and her Gran, who devoted too much time to other interests and failed to give her granddaughter the love and attention she needed, employed a young governess, Pat Roberts, to help. Unfortunately when Pat left to get married, the lonely child was sent to a boarding school.
