Dina Must Dance!

Plot:

Dina Lee a gypsy girl is given a free place at the Linden house Ballet School and she isn’t too pleased to give up her carefree life. Then she receives a gypsy warning that she is in danger and she suspects jealous snob Paula may be out to hurt her.

Lorna Drake

Plot

Lorna Drake, is a promising ballet dancer at the Thelma Mayne Dancing School. She doesn’t  always have the easiest time, especially when another student Marilyn Molton, becomes jealous of her. She later goes on to have many other adventures, such as when she when she has to dance in secret to help her father with his financial problems, when she finds a mystery in an old theatre claimed to be haunted by the ghost of a ballerina, and when she pretends to be another person to substitute for her in a ballet.

The Dancing Life of Moira Kent

Plot

Follows the life of Moira Kent an aspiring ballerina, from a young girl to adulthood. Her grandfather who starts off disapproving turns into one of her biggest supporters and she has many adventures on her way to stardom.

The Baby and the Ballet

Plot:

Little Yoo is the star pupil at the Acme Ballet School. Her and her friends, June and Piggy are secretly caring for a baby, Ko, after threats have been made to kidnap the baby from his mother, Hu Pao.

Julie Against the Dragon

Plot

Julie Harris helps her mother run a ballet class but then an influential woman, Mrs Verity, forbids Mrs Harris to run the class. Her son and his wife, a famous ballerina, were killed in a plane crash on the way to a performance, so she has hated ballet since. Julie not knowing about this reason,  has nicknamed Mrs Verity the dragon and aims to defeat her.
