Plot:

Pat Fraser’s father, a scientist, was blinded in a lab accident. A specialist has said that with complete rest and quiet there was a good chance of Mr Fraser recovering his sight. The family move to Forge Cottage and to help with the recovery there was a “no visitors” rule. Pat makes friend with a neighbour, but she also makes an enemy at school.
