Plot:
Rosalie Howes, a talented young actress, is a new pupil at the theatre school run by a world-famous, but miserly actress, Marie Robb. Rosalie is very unhappy at the school, but she cannot leave as she has signed a contract and thinks that her father must pay nine hundred pounds if she leaves before her three-year course is completed. Rosalie doesn’t realise that, as she is a minor, the contract is worthless.
