Vicky the Evacuee

Plot:

In the early part of the Second I World War in 1940, many children were evacuated from the big cities because of the danger from bombing. Vicky Watson and her younger sister and brother, from the East End of London, were billeted with some other children at the home of Lady Massingham. The butler, the Nanny and the housekeeper looked down on the evacuees.
