Plot

A humour strip about a schoolgirl Dottie who constantly gets into trouble and exasperates her parents. Later the strip was reworked into a diary format – Dottie’s Diary. These stories often took up half a page while the other half of the page had Dottie’s Joke Book

Dottie’s Joke Book usually had a different theme every week (i.e. Dottie’s Crime Joke Book, Dottie’s Christmas Joke Book)  It didn’t actually star Dottie, instead it consisted of a collection of one panel cartoons.
