The artist for this series was Julio Bosch. There were also annual stories for 1975 and 1976 under the name “Mary of Moorlands”, which suggest that the weekly series also may have changed names at some point. Bosch did the 1976 story, but the 1975 was done by a substitute artist whose name I don’t know.
Does anybody know the dates for the weekly series? It seems to have appeared sporadically during the early 1970’s, one story run ending on 2 May 1970 (Judy #538).
According to my notes, the starting issue number and date from Lorraine and its ending issue number and date from Goof are both accurate. The serial only appeared once in JUDY. The only additional contribution that I can make is to state that there was no instalment of ‘Cinderella Of The Orphanage’ in either issue 531 or 532.
Thanks, Derek, that’s very helpful.
Another series which had a much longer life in the annuals than in the weeklies.
I have 0% interest in the annuals, Goof, but 100% interest in the story papers.
Thanks for the extra information. As my work is going into busy period again until the end of June, it may take me little longer to update, but will update when I can. Thanks again.
