Plot:

Sosana Riply thinks that her and her pony Magpie have a good chance of becoming show jumpers. She does manage to become a champion, she returns in a sequel “A Horse for Sosana” where she is now too old to enter the same level of competitions and she also needs a bigger horse than Magpie.
