Plot

Kaffra Irassa, daughterr of a Bedouin chief, was a pupil at Oldmanor School. Her real reason for being there, however, was to locate some important treasures which had been stolen from her people many years previously by Sir Randolph Pipperton, a former owner of Oldmanor. With the aid of her mysterious scarab talisman, Khepera, Irassa found the missing treasures hidden in a secret room beneath the school library, but she had to figure out how to remove them and transport them back to her people.  Irassa also  had the gift of second sight and through this she made an enemy of Belle Farrow, one of her classmates in the Third Form.
