Plot

Unknown to Marie Talbot, her mother had been killed in a circus accident when Marie was a small child. Terrified that she would share the same fate, Marie’s Grandfather had banned her from doing gymnastics.

Spring-Heeled Jill

Plot

In Victorian London, Jillian Smith is a typist at a police station, but she also works as a secret crime fighter “Spring-heeled Jill” – a flying, leaping figure from the fog.

Wilma Must Win!

Plot

Wilma Clark was a very competitive runner and felt angry whenever she lost a race. Her biggest rival was Ruth Davis, whose dad was in the hospital. On the day of the big race Wilma realises it’s better to let Ruth win to boost her dad’s spirits.

Plot

When Anna Love’s father got an opportunity to have an eye operation to restore his sight, Anna was nervous.  She felt she was an ugly duckling and had always pretended to her dad she was beautiful. Of course after his operation, her dad thinks she is beautiful anyway and she blossoms with confidence.

Stacey’s First Term / Haunted by the Past!

Plot

It was Stacey Moores first term at her new boarding school St Mead’s.  Without meaning to  Stacey had given the impression that Phillipa Gray, a famous actress, was her aunt. She was finding it hard to own up to the truth.

Stacey and her new friends, Diane and Jill, return in a sequel, Haunted by the Past! They were trying to help a ghost who she was wrongly accused of stealing a jewel.
