Hope’s End

Plot

Sandra Lambert was reading an old diary found in the cellar of  a crumbling building which in Victorian times had been Sir Joshua Hope’s Home for the Poor. Because all hope had gone for the orphans who lived there, the grim place had come to be known as Hope’s End. The diary is not written by one person, so Sarah learns a lot about the different people who lived there.
