Plot

It is the year 1189 and King Henry II has just died. Young Lady Maud of Norton has been entrusted by a wounded messenger with the task of taking the Royal Crown to London and Prince Richard. Prince John is trying to capture the crown for, without it, Richard cannot be King. For safety, Maud has the crown, of distinctive reddish gold, melted down and made into shoes for Starlight, her horse.
