The Golden Voice of Glenda

Plot:

When her father died, Glenda Grant and her mother had to sell everything to pay the business debts, so they went to live in Great-Aunt Floss’s house which was in a very poor locality. Glenda was very plain and shy, but she had a beautiful singing voice and hoped to make singing her career. At her new school, she was very hurt when, in the school performance of “St George and the Dragon”, she was given the part of the Dragon.
