The Siege of Sydney Street School

The boys of Lower Chompton Grammar School win a sports trophy, but they are beaten in a challenge match by the girls of Sydney Street School, who thus feel entitled to “borrow” the trophy. Led by the Mayor, the townspeople besiege the girls’ walled school, refusing to let them out or send food in to them. The girls manage to get food by a series of raids, but now they are rapidly running out of jam. The girls are getting restless being stuck in school all the time.siege of sydney street school
