Plot
Schoolgirl, Hannah Knight, of Brianscourt Boarding School, is in the power of sinister Professor Vaslav, who has a dematerialisation machine that can transfer living creatures from one place to another. With this amazing machine, he has even made Hannah pass through solid walls! Hannah is unaware that she is being used for experiments, as the professor uses a special lamp to hypnotise her. Hannah’s friend, Sue Sheldon, suspects the professor and, when Hannah disappears from the dormitory, Sue cycles to the professor’s house.

Hello,
I should be most interested in reading that sci-fi story.
But as yet, I proved unable to locate on the net the issues 326 through 334 of JUDY (spring 1966).
Or to purchase the magazines themselves on eBay or elsewhere…
Do you know if the story was reprinted later, on JUDY or some other comics ?
Many thanks.
I don’t know whether this would be of interest if you can’t find the Judy issues, but this story was used again, partly rewritten and with new artwork, as Bunty Picture Story Library 181 “Prisoner of the Purple Ray”.
As far as I can see, the story is broadly the same (girl is hypnotised in a glass case using a lamp by a Professor Vaslav, and made to dematerialise and walk through walls etc), and the Picture Library version may be easier to find.
Many thanks for that info !
I hope that Bunty Picture Story will prove easier to locate than the 1966 issues of Judy.
(Sorry for any flaws in my english)
30th century comics have a couple of those episodes from Judy listed in their catalogue (330, 331 & 334). https://30thcenturycomics.co.uk/catalogue-index/girls-picture-libraries/
I have that Bunty picture story library if you would be interested in some scans?
