Plot:

Polly Hill has been recently orphaned and is staying with Mr and Mrs Cook temporarily (but they secretly hope it will become permanent). The Cooks are the Pearly King and Queen of London and offer to make Polly Pearly Princess. Polly is delighted, but the Cooks’  son Albie is not, as he was disowned and disqualified from becoming Pearly Prince for getting in with a bad crowd. Albie starts causing trouble for Polly.
