Plot

Since Tina Lee had joined the Bus Stop Players, a touring concert party, she had felt tormented by Don, the ventriloquist’s doll belonging to young Stephen Steed. Tina suspected that sometimes a little person dressed up in the dummy’s clothing to frighten her. One day, she managed to corner what she thought was the little person. Terrified, she called for Charlie Cheers, the Players’ leader.

  • Translated into Dutch as “Poppenspel” (Dolls’ Play) and published in Mariska Starstrip #5 (1980s).

  1. Is the artist Jordi Badia Romero? Hard to tell from these two panels, but the first one is virtually identical to a panel in the Misty story “The Day The Sky Grew Dark”, which he drew – almost a copy.
