Plot
Irene Pryce (or Price in the reprint), an orphan and brilliant pianist, was taken in by music teacher Madame Cherrier. The teacher had suffered tragedy in her life when she lost her husband and daughter in accident but Irene had found out they had survived the accident. She didn’t want to get Madame Cherrier, so she investigated secretly.
