My Friend Flippety / Lonely

Plot

Orphan Debbie Moore lived with her cruel Uncle Bert and Aunt Rose and their three children; twins Nick and Tony and daughter Jasmine. Debbie rescued an injured flippety-eared hare from the family dog and was determined to a nurse it back to health, secretly.

The cover girl, named for the comic, Tracy and her pet budgie Elton had humorous adventures. Tracy joined Judy & Co. strip when the two comics merged.

Let’s Get Together!

Plot

After finding out that they were really sisters, who were parted since their parents break-up ten years previously, Sue Conway and Sheila Ferrris were determined to re-unite the family. But their parents weren’t quite so keen!

Cartoon Crew

Plot

Tracy had a number of short humour strips. In issue #2 these first appeared under the heading Cartoon Crew. In that issue 3 strips appeared Salomi and her Snake, Sporty Sue and Watch the Birdie! There was usually three to four strips on a page, though sometimes just one strip may appear at bottom of letters page or feature. Many different strips appeared over the years including Tootsies (a strip from the viewpoint of toes!), Angela, Cave Girl, Dreamy Dinah, Elton’s Cousin Cuthbert, Swanky Frankie and Winnie the Witch

Slave to the Beauty Queen

Plot

Carol Conway is living with her elder sister Myra while their parents are abroad. Both of them like entering in beauty contests, but on the way back they have a car accident. Carol ends up with a scar but Myra seems to be only concerned with herself and her beauty queen career and starts ordering Carol around.

The Spell on Aunt Nell – and me as well! / My Weird Woolly!

Plot

Katie Bell and her Aunt Nell help out a gipsy woman, who tells them as a reward she can grant them one wish but it must be the same thing and they have to wish for it at the same time. Neither of them believe in spells but later in the evening they wish for each others lives during an argument. So this means boisterous Katie and prim Aunt Nell end up switching places at times.

Katie Bell returns in more weird adventures when she gets a Woolly (a jacket) that gets supercharged with static making it magnetic. Sometimes she can work this to her advantage but not always!

Tammy Smart’s Schooldays

Plot

When Tammy Smart’s father has an accident, her brother Trevor considers helping out at  his car repair workshop until he recovers. But this would mean he would lose his scholarship at Merton Hall where is due to start. Tammy as his twin comes up with the idea to take Trevor’s place at school.

The Plot Against Penny

Plot

Penny Morgan’s mother died when she was young girl, since then her and her father worked together sharing housework. But when her dad feels she needs more time for her studies at her new school, he decides to hire a live in housekeeper.  Mrs Green and her 12 year old daughter Tania seem perfect, but there is something that Penny doesn’t like about them. Her suspicions are right, as the Greens plan to take advantage of Mr Morgan and to do so they have to turn him against Penny.
