Jungle Jane built an ark to rescue animals which were stranded in the huge lake formed by a new hydro-electric dam.
Tess Wilson lives in a log cabin in the middle of the Oregan Forests of America. Her father was a forestry ranger and she often helped him and the animals in the area.

Adventures of Snip the fox. After being caught in a snare near Dingle Wood, Snip had luckily been rescued by Linda Dale, the farmer’s daughter.
Young Kim Adams had a great love of animals and knew many natural cures. With her grandfather she lived on a small holding named”The Hill” She helped animals from the village.
Mairi Macintyre was a serving maid at Culloden House before the battle of Culloden in April 1746, when Prince Charles Edward Stuart’s highland army was defeated by government troops. The Prince had given Mhairi his dog, Rowley, to care for and she rescued his injured horse, Hero. She hoped to return the animals to the prince who was fleeing William Duke of Cumberland’s troops. Unknown to her he suspected her plan and was following her hoping she would lead him to the prince.
During the bombing of London in World War II, many people were made homeless including Sally King, and her friends Jo and Debbie Niven. They decided together to help the animals that had also lost their homes.
Aileen Shaw’s family had to emmigrate to Canada after her father’s business failed. Mr Shaw’s brother offered pay for tickets for family, but couldn’t afford a ticket for Taffy, Aileen’s adored pony, so she was determined to earn money herself.
Peri Wills was a girl with a special way with ponies. She had the chance of attending a first-class pony school and there she learnt a great deal. But through a misunderstanding, she had to leave before taking her instructor’s certificate. Her longing to be with ponies led her to take an unpaid job at a ramshackle riding school kept by Mr and Mrs Hopkins.
Peri started to groom one of the ponies.
Orphan Annie Bright is in charge of the menagerie belonging to Chipper’s Circus. Annie has a deep affection for all animals. In turn, the animals trust Annie. A new venture begins for Annie when the animals are hired out to do “acting” jobs.
