“My Sister Hates Me!” / I Hate You!

Plot:

Gail Jenkins is unhappy when her parents move abroad and sends a letter begging them to return. Their plane crashes, leaving the father dead and the mother seriously injured. Gail’s sister Sue blames her because of the letter and their relationship becomes embittered.

Plot:

After their parents split up, Kelley King stays with her father while her sister Claire goes abroad with the mother. Then Claire comes back to live with Kelley, Dad and his new wife. But Claire has been nasty to Kelley ever since her return and is poisoning her friends against her.

Whirlwind Winnie

Plot:

Winnie Wright, a fourteen-year-old orphan, was  adopted by her Uncle Bert. Her cousin, Jane, was an ardent racing cyclist and, much against the wishes of her relatives, Winnie had taken up cycling, too. The previous year Jane had won the area junior cycling championship and this year Winnie was determined to beat her. But, in order to enter, Winnie had to win her club championship, something Jane was out to prevent.

The Rebel Royle

Plot

Faith Must Not Fail

Plot

Faith Gale’s father, a famous climber seriously injured in Switzerland on the notorious Schwarzhorn Mountain, has. ruthlessly trained his daughter to climb. He takes her to Switzerland, where she meets the twins, Pamela and Deryk Yates. While climbing with them, she narrowly escapes death from a mysterious rock fall. Then her father announces that Faith will climb the Schwarzhorn by the direct route —the one on which his accident happened and the other climbers with him were killed.
