As a result of a bad illness as a child Gail Newington had grown up spoilt and selfish. Then her welsh grandfather came to live with the family and bought Gail a very unusual pony called Honey. Honey’s actions seem to make Gail a better person.
Diana Evans has been tricked into going to the small country of Lituanna with her pony, Bronwen, bought by King Remo, who wants Diane to teach his daughter, Zahra, to ride. Diana discovers that the people of Lituanna live in fear of their High Priest, whose temple she accidentally comes upon. Puzzled as to why she has been brought to Lituanna. Diana asks the crippled King Remo for an explanation.

Bonny and Cly, the big Clydsdale horse, had a spell put on them by Whirlin the Wizard. They were banished until they found the Golden Gooseberry. As part of the spell, Bonny could understand what Cly was saying.
After a bad riding accident, Wendy Barne’s father, a scientist made her an electronic horse, she named Miracle. The horse had extra abilities such as extendible legs and eye beams.

During the eighteenth century, times were hard for Cora Thatcher’s parents and they were forced to sell their fine horse, Starlight. Charles Beaufort, a wealthy landowner, bought the horse for his spoilt daughter, Clarissa. Because no-one else could handle the horse, except Cora, she was “bought” too. Although the valuable horse was well fed and tended, life was grim for Cora.
This is a story narrated by a young horse Wanderer, he has had a few owners since he was born, some kind and some not so kind.

Two cousins who dislike each other have to share a pony, Starlight, they inherited from their grandfather. The girls mothers have been in a family feud, which has carried on to the daughters, they each play tricks on each other in order to try and get more riding time with Starlight, and when things go wrong, like missing out on joining a team competition, or ruining practice jumps the girls don’t see they are making things harder for themselves!
Penny Marsden entered a competition to win a pony, and a second entry in her sister, Cathy’s name, to double her chances of winning. When “Cathy’s” entry won, she claimed the pony as her own. Penny was shattered but had to make the best of things when her father insisted that the girls share the pony.
Teenager Sheena Shore and her pony, Taffy, had rescued Dream, a beautiful pony, from the river. Mr Bolton, the pony’s gruff owner, offered Sheena a job working with Dream and Sheena was about to go to the posh stables to start work.
