“You Lead, I’ll Follow”
Plot
Sherry Lander’s parents disapproved of her friendship with Mike Packer, a former ice-hockey player who had injured an eye in an accident. To help him regain his nerve, Sherry persuaded him to partner her in ice-dancing and they won a contest in the pairs section. But Sherry’s mother used an underhand trick to separate them, and, thinking Sherry had found new skating partner and fresh interest, Mike began motorbike scrambling. They resolved that conflict after a talk, but some rival skaters the Redfords were also scheming against them.

Lessons from Linda
Plot
The arrival of young Linda Prescott as a second instructor at Durfield ice rink is bitterly resented by the other coach, Miss Sloggers, many of whose pupils transfer their lessons. She is determined to get rid of Linda and, at every opportunity, secretly makes trouble for her. Meanwhile Linda makes friends with Jenny Ward, a little girl who shows great skating promise but who cannot afford lessons. Linda tries to help Jenny and her other students, unaware of Miss Sloggers scheming.

Get Your Skates on, Sandi!
Plot
Sandi Smith lived with her Aunt Vi who owned a shop and kept Sandi busy doing odd jobs. Sandi was an expert on roller skates and when an ice rink opens nearby she longed to be an ice skater too. She won a free pass and lessons at the ice-rink, but her Aunt Vi kept her busy, making it difficult for her to attend.

Marcia – Mystery Skater [1973]
Plot
Amy Woodley becomes convinced a brilliant skater named Katina is in fact her sister Marcia. But Katina does not even recognise Amy as her sister. And who is that mysterious woman in black who is always veiled and trying to stop Amy from finding out the truth, even to the point of framing her for theft? It becomes apparent that the woman in black has some sort of evil influence over Marcia, and Katina’s skating, while brilliant, has an oddly mechanical look.

The Silver Blades [1978]
Plot
Nancy Nixon saves her skating rival, Rona Ashton, from drowning. However, when Nancy loses her memory of the rescue, Rona takes advantage by claiming she had rescued Nancy, and gets her banned from the local ice rink. At the frozen pond at Manor House, a girl named Marion promises to coach Nancy for the upcoming Silver Blades championship, but Nancy soon finds there is a real mystery about Marion. Sabotage strikes as well, and Nancy suspects Rona.

The Black Nightingale [1973]
Plot
In Nazi-occupied Rotterdam in 1941, former ice-skating champion Linda Konig works in a German-occupied hospital during the day. But by night she is a resistance fighter against the Nazis known as “The Black Nightingale”, and she uses her ice-skating skills for fast navigation of the frozen Rotterdam canals to help the Dutch.

Beth and Boy Georgie
Plot
Georgina Foster and Beth Dawson enter the Bendall Cup for ice-skating but lose their partners when they go to register. Just for a joke, Georgina and Beth enter together, with Georgina pretending to be a boy, George. But when they pass the first heat, this gets them trapped in a deception with Georgina forced to go on pretending to be a boy. To add to their problems, their schools are bitter rivals.

Plot
Susan Taylor wins the leading part in a new ice-ballet. But strange, frightening incidents begin to happen and they are accompanied by the appearances a cloaked, masked figure who can also hypnotise Susan.
