Model Princess

Plot

Princess Lana of Berkstein, was in Britain to learn social graces and perform a few public functions. A dream had come true when she was accepted by the House of Frage as a model. However, she didn’t dare let her Aunt Florence, the Duchess of Ranningham, find out, so she changed her name to Salty Smith and disguised herself by wearing a wig and sunglasses.

The Girl with 1000 Dresses

Plot

When Agnes Cobbs left school her future looked grim. Her father was in prison and his sister, her aunt, hated Agnes. Then Miss Tamara Brent who had been forced to give up a fabulous modelling career after an accident left her badly scarred offered to train Agnes as model if she would go live with her and her mute companion Kate. Miss Brent gave her no rest and told her she must learn horse riding and attend calisthenic classes.

Plot

Plot

Jill Jackson had found holiday work as a photo story model for a girls magazine. Jill was unaware that the other model Shaney Travers was really an older girl pretending to be a schoolgirl, but she did suspect that Shaney was out to cause difficulties for Rob Harper the young photographer

The Face of Romany Fortune

Plot:

A great mystery surrounded model Romany Fortune, who had arrived, out of nowhere, at the studio of top fashion photographer, Justin Harrington. Romany had predicted the death of Justin’s top model Dee Marlowe in a car crash, and had then taken over an important assignment meant for Dee.

Miss Junior Miss

Plot

Brenda Marsh works as a junior model for Maurice Anton, a famous dress designer. Brenda’s main job is to model the Junior Miss style of clothes which Anton has designed. Mademoiselle Laporte, Anton’s manageress, sends Brenda and another junior Model, Jane Sinclair, to Paris to model clothes for another designer, Madame Brien. With Brenda and Jane are Jennifer Drury, a famous model, and John Bellamy, Maurice Anton’s designer. At the fashion show, Brenda sees a man who she is sure is taking secret photographs of the new styles, using a camera disguised as a hearing aid. miss junior miss

Willa the Wisp

Plot:

In first story Willa Browne,  tries to get a job at a department store selling perfume. She gets locked in at closing and to pass the time she tries on different dresses. The store’s managers see her on the security camera and think she would make a great model. The story follows her modeling career and becoming a successful model.

In the follow up now a fashion model, Willa  had converted an old London bus into a boutique and with her friends, Ruth and Jane, had set off on a tour of France to give fashion shows in various towns.

Jane Model Miss

Plot

Jane Morgan lives with her widow mother Julie, who was a model. In her first appearance Julie has just been fired from her modelling job and Jane is still in school.  Jane helps her mother as much as she can and already shows herself to be a talented fashion designer.  She goes onto become a  model and a famous fashion designer and gets the opportunity to travel around the world and even solve a mystery or two.
