The Girl With the Yellow Shoes

Plot:

Orphan Ann Grayson is determined to become a ballerina like her mother was. She carries with her, her mother’s yellow ballet shoes and  earns her place at Tall Trees ballet school. Her guardian Aunt Rita wants to stop Ann’s ambition, and refuses her money for her keep. so Ann ends up living in an abandoned caravan near the school.

Plot

In 1911, just before Kate Darby’s grandmother dies, she tells her she has a long lost brother. Kate sets out to find him,  earning her living along the way, by singing and playing her treasured accordion in theatre queues.

Plot

Jonny Comet comes to earth in search of his sister. Slim Fiddler realises Jonny could have a great future as a pop-star and appoints himself as Jonny’s manager. Slim’s niece, Mona, helps to keep Jonny’s identity secret.

Blue Eyes

Plot:

Belinda Barton is a a child star of film and television, famous for her blue eyes. Belinda lives with her uncle and aunt who take her money in the pretence of helping her “sick” cousin. After a fall Belinda starts suffering from bouts of blurred vision, but she is afraid to tell anyone.
